Sony Launches PS4 Pro Bundle at Exact Same Price as Xbox One X

Microsoft is releasing a highly-limited edition Xbox One X bundle - but you can't buy it.

During a recent investors' call, Guillemot explained his reasoning, saying that "as Sony launched PlayStation 4 Pro last year and Microsoft the Xbox One X this year, we think we still have a minimum of two years in front of us before something new is coming".

Apparently, it's been "inspired by today's top athletes, entertainers, and influencers who enjoy playing video games and want the best experience possible".

No amount of money thrown at your screen will net you this bundle, sadly - Microsoft specifically states within the reveal that this kit is intended for "selected press and influencers", although fans hungry for some VIP goodness are encouraged to keep an eye on "partner social channels", so it's a sure thing that there will be at least one or two giveaways in the near future.

The Verge noted in its review of the Xbox One X that it ran out of storage space with 14 games and 20 apps installed.

The enthusiasm that the Xbox community has for the new console is palpable.

The special Xbox One X update for Homefront: The Revolution is now available for current owners of the game.

This makes a large degree of sense and isn't without precedent; after all, we waited around seven years between the release of the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4. Give him a follow over on Twitter and maybe one day.

GameStop will report earnings next on Tuesday, November 27, at which time the retailer may discuss Xbox One X sales and more.
