New "Justice League" trailer wows at New York Comic Con

Justice League

As promised by DC and Warner Bros - with some very precise marketing - a new Justice League trailer arrived a few moments ago, at exactly 9AM ET/6AM PT.

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new Superhero-sized trailer for the highly anticipated adaptation of DC Comics JUSTICE LEAGUE - and we finally see Henry Cavill! It opens with a shot of Henry Cavill's Man of Steel - who sacrificed his life previous year in "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" - appearing in a dream to his love interest, Lois Lane (Amy Adams).

Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Superman (Henry Cavill) united for the film's fourth trailer, which dropped Sunday at New York Comic-Con. But, even with the formation of the new league of heroes, it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions. "The world needs Superman" Bruce Wayne says to Diana, implying that the alien's death is the reason the heroes unite in the first place.

The trailer was shared by the official Justice League Twitter account and although it promised more for its fans, it still left out one of Justice League's most essential figures, Superman. He was killed in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. And hence makers chose to go with director Joss Whedon, who has good experience in directing ensemble band of superheroes in The Avengers.

Justice League hits theaters on November 17th. Justice League is produced by Charles Roven, Deborah Snyder, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns.

The final Justice League trailer is here and it features a bit of an unexpected return.

Of course there will be plenty of eyeballs on the movie, especially after Joss Whedon took over as director following a family tragedy that forced Zack Snyder to bow out of post production.
