Jose Mourinho is calling on his Manchester United players to spread out the goals more throughout the team during the new 2017/18 season.

"The Premier League is what you all know", Mourinho said on Friday.

"We have the confidence levels of a team who won a European competition".

While explaining how he'd like to bring in a winger, he suggested Lindelöf, who was signed from Benfica earlier in the summer to help bolster United's defence, could be deployed in a midfield role if required to.

The same system was deployed by Chelsea manager Antonio Conte in his team's title-winning campaign last season and has since been adopted by a number of other managers, including Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. "But that spurs us even more, everybody writing us off already, so I hope we can prove them wrong". If he can steal one of the wide berths, Gray can be an important player this season. "We thought we've made this 16-hour journey to watch the match, we may as well watch the medal presentation and see the players on their lap of honour", Ibrahim told ManUtd.com.

Romelu Lukaku is a very good signing and Nemanja Matic is a brilliant pick-up from Chelsea. Go to this link for the match preview, injury report, odds and more.

Wayne Rooney returns to Everton eyeing the two goals he needs to reach 200 in the Premier League, and will face opening opponents against whom he has scored five times in the top flight including a previous brace in 2012.

"But I am not a difficult person to work with, in spite of sometimes it looks different or you want to make it look different. I have better conditions to deliver a better season than my first one".

"It's truly incredible to see his strength, power and the intelligence he possesses".

The 54-year-old added: "I think everyone - the top seven - are all in Europe".

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has reshaped his squad extensively since last season's 11th-place finish.

WE'RE now a mere day away from the start of the 2017-18 Premier League season. He has done so for three clubs, including for the Seagulls in the League Cup in 2008 - the last time the two sides met.
